I personally just encourage people to switch to KDE.

This “users are idiots, and are confused by functionality” mentality of
Gnome is a disease. If you think your users are idiots, only idiots will

New ATI Drivers…

The following are the instruction to install this driver in
opensuse GNU/Linux distribution:

You must download the ATI installer from
ATI website.

The following packages are required to install the drivers:
kernel-sources, gcc (use YAST to install them)

To generate the RPM for SuSE you must type (as root):

root@localhost #./ati-driver-installer-8.20.8-i386.run –buildpkg SuSE/SUSE100-IA32
Creating directory fglrx-install
Verifying archive integrity… All good.
